JERSEY CITY, N.J.- Saint Peter's University Women's Soccer lost to Rider University, 1-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Jaroschak Field.

Game Notes

The defensive battle went in the Broncs' favor.
It was an evenly matched game with both sides having opportunities to score.
Rider's Ava DeGeorge netted the game-winning goal on a penalty kick with 10 minutes to go in the contest.
The first half was a defensive battle for both sides.
Saint Peter's goalkeeper Annabelle Adams recorded four saves in the first 45 minutes.
Rider had four shots on goal compared to Saint Peter's two shots on goal in the first half.
DeGeorge's goal was enough for Rider to hold on in the last 10 minutes of play.
