EDISON, N.J.- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) named Saint Peter's Swimming & Diving freshman
Paige Austin-Burrows the MAAC Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of October 30.
Last Saturday, Austin-Burrows had a sensational meet performance in Saint Peter's home dual meet against Manhattan University. In the win, Austin-Burrows won the Women's 200-Yard Medley Relay, Women's 200-Yard Butterfly, and Women's 200-Yard Backstroke heats. She also was part of the second-place relay team in the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay.
On Saturday, Nov. 9, Austin-Burrows will have an opportunity to keep her successful start to the season going in a meet at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Austin-Burrows is part of a wave of freshman who have made an impact since coming onto campus in Jersey City.
