JERSEY CITY, NJ- Saint Peter's sophomore Fatmata Janneh has been honored as the MAAC Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday, December 2, 2024.
Janneh played a pivotal role in securing the Peacocks' first win of the season with a dominant performance against NJIT on December 1. She tallied 25 points, 21 rebounds, two steals, and a block, showcasing her all-around game.
The Peacocks will return to action on Sunday, December 8, with a non-conference match-up against the University of Pittsburgh. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m., and fans can catch the game live on ACCN Network ESPN.
