BOSTON, MASS. - The Saint Peter's Track & Field team competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University this weekend.
Day One Fri. 2/9
The first day of the event featured the women's side. The highest-placed finisher was Ciara Brown in the women's weight throw, and the women's shot put event. Brown placed eighth in the women's shot put event with a distance of 11.95m. Brown was followed by Kennedy Vaughn. The Saint Peter's freshman placed 15th (10.61m). In the women's weight throw Brown placed 12th with a distance of 13.69m.
Day Two Sat. 2/10
The Saint Peter's Men's Track & Field team competed on Saturday, Feb. 10. The Peacocks had two top-five finishers in the men's 60-meter dash event. Cashieve Blair won the event. Blair completed the race in 6.94 and placed first out of 77 runners. Judeson Mirac placed fourth (7.02). Additionally, Blair placed ninth (21.56) out of 209 entries in the men's 200m dash.
