WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ. - The Saint Peter's Track & Field team opened up its outdoor season at the Monmouth Spring Open at Monmouth University.
Cashieve Blair won the Men's 400 Meters in 49.45. Additionally, Blair placed second (10.77) in the Men's 100M finals. Clardo Nestor finished the Men's 800M in second place with a time of 1:58:85. In the Men's 400M Hurdles, Saint Peter's freshman Connor Ziolkowski placed eighth at 58.43. Ziolkowski was followed by Oluwamumisorire Amori (58.76), who placed ninth.
On the women's side, Saint Peter's had two top-five finishes in the Women's 400M Hurdles. Diamond McLaughlin placed fourth at 1:07:49, and Abigail Vital placed fifth (1:07.02). Additionally, the Peacocks had two top-ten finishes in the Women's 100M Hurdles. Vital placed fourth (14.75) followed by Mikell Dolo (15.66), who placed eighth overall.
