LEWISBURG, PA. - The Saint Peter's Track & Field team competed in the Bison Outdoor Classic at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium over the weekend. Cashieve Blair and Abigail Vital each finished an event in the top ten.
The meet featured student-athletes from a stacked field. Blair placed eighth in the men's 100-meter dash. Blair finished the race in 10.71. Oluwamumsorire Amori placed eighth in the men's triple jump (14.29m). Saint Peter's senior Delano Gooden placed 18th out of 41 student-athletes in the men's 200-meter dash (22.01).
Saint Peter's senior Vital finished the women's 100-meter hurdles event in sixth out of 61 student-athletes. Additionally, Vital finished the women's 100-meter dash in 22nd out of 66 runners. The highest finish from field events for Saint Peter's came from Ciara Brown. Brown placed 22nd in the women's shot put event with a distance of 11.97m.

The Saint Peter's Track & Field team travels to Baltimore, Maryland, for the Morgan State Legacy Meet. The event takes place this upcoming weekend on April. 19-20.
