JERSEY CITY, N.J.- The Saint Peter's Women's Soccer team defeated Hampton University, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon at Jaroschak Field.

- The Peacocks used two late goals to surge past Hampton and reclaim the win.
- Gianna Grassifulli put the Peacocks ahead with a goal in the 19th minute.
- Joana Dias notched Saint Peter's second goal in the first half off of a Sydney Ragland assist.
- Before the end of the first half, Hampton's Sanaa Perry scored to give her team a one-goal deficit.
- Following two goals from Makayla Wade and Sofia Jimenez, the Lady Pirates took a 3-2 advantage with eight minutes left in regular time.
- Grassifulli scored her second goal of the match and third of the season with an 87th-minute strike to tie the match at 3-3.
- In the 89th minute, Stella Accettola netted the game-winning goal for Saint Peter's.
- With the victory, the Peacocks moved to 2-1 on the season.
