FAIRFAX, Va. – The Saint Peter's track and field program had three runners toe the line on the track at the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Sunday at George Mason Stadium.
Connor Ziolkowski was the only Saint Peter's athlete on the men's side while
Shania McDuffie and
Karilynn Jimenez represented the Peacocks on the women's side.
Ziolkowski started things off for SPU on the final day of the ECAC/IC4A Championships with the 400-meter hurdles in which he competed in the second of three heats. He came in fifth out of 19, finishing with a 54.41 mark.
McDuffie and Jimenez then took part in the 200-meter race where they both finished inside the top-15 out of 35 runners. McDuffie finished in 24.74 for a ninth-place finish while Jimenez placed 13th with a time of 24.89. Both marks were personal bests for the Peacocks as they wrapped up their outdoor season.
