JERSEY CITY, NJ–The Saint Peter's women's soccer team hits the road for its final MAAC matchup of the month, traveling to Lawrenceville, NJ, to face in-state rival Rider on Wednesday, September 24, at Ben Cohen Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The Peacocks look to bounce back in MAAC play after back-to-back conference losses. Saint Peter's is coming off a tough weekend, where a 79th minute Marist goal proved the difference despite the Peacocks outshooting the Red Foxes 6-4 and holding a 3-1 edge in shots on goal in the second half.

ABOUT THE BRONCS
Rider (2-4-2, 0-2) finished August 0-2-2, falling to Wagner and Saint Joseph's and drawing to Seton Hall and NJIT. In September, the Broncs earned its first wins in shutouts over Delaware State and University of Albany but dropped their first two MAAC contests to Quinnipiac (2-1) and Canisius (2-0)
The Broncs have totaled eight goals on the season, paced by the Ferrie sisters: sophomore Tess Ferrie leads with two goals, two assists and junior Ava Ferrie has tallied two goals and one assist. Goalkeeper Ashley Moore has made 33 saves across seven matches, posting a .805 save percentage and ranking fourth in the MAAC with a 1.32 goals-against average.
Rider is led by 18th-year head coach Drayson Hounsome.

Canisius is the lone team in the MAAC with three conference wins after defeating Rider 2-0. Quinnipiac (2-3-2, 2-0-1) sits second following a 5-1 victory over Mount St. Mary's (3-5, 1-2). Fairfield (7-1, 2-0) is in third, riding a six-game win streak after topping Sacred Heart (3-4-1, 2-1) 4-1. Merrimack (3-4-2, 2-1) and SHU are tied for fourth, while Marist (2-5-2, 1-0-2) and Siena (4-2-4, 1-1-1) round out the top six after their weekend victories.
