JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's University baseball program released its schedule for the upcoming 2026 season on Tuesday as a first-year coaching staff takes over Jersey City. The season is set to begin a month from now, on Friday, Feb. 20, when the Peacocks head to Georgetown.
"I'm looking forward to our guys competing every day," head coach
TJ Ward said ahead of the season. "I'm really excited to mold our young talent and help them develop over a long season, while also watching our few returners lead this team."
The competition starts with a challenge as the Peacocks are faced with a four-game series on the road against Georgetown to open the season. Saint Peter's then takes on George Washington, Army, NJIT and Lehigh before beginning MAAC play in March.
"The northeast has a lot of competitive programs, and playing as many of them as possible will help get our guys prepared for conference play. I am expecting MAAC play to be very competitive with a lot of parity. Being my first year in the conference, all we can focus on is playing our brand of baseball. The goal is to be playing our best baseball those last few weeks of the season."
The Peacocks play 10 MAAC series, half taking place at home and the other half on the road. At home in 2026, Saint Peter's hosts Fairfield, Quinnipiac, Iona, Niagara and Merrimack. On the road, the Peacocks are faced with Marist, Canisius, Mount St. Mary's, Siena and Rider.
*Schedule is tentative and subject to change. All times ET.
