ARLINGTON, VA-
The Saint Peter's Peacocks could not pull out a win against the Revolutionaries in game two of their three-game series
The Peacocks (0-6) had a hard time trying to stop George Washington (2-6), with Washington scoring consecutively in multiple innings, with the game ending in a 2-8 defeat for SPU.
Despite the loss, the Peacocks saw improvement at the plate, with hitting leaders Bobby Lavely (1), RJ Azarieh (1), and Louis D'Alessio (1) standing out. Azarieh scored runs, and Lavely hit a home run. Joey Tonnotti also had himself a game with zero earned runs for Washington in the two innings he pitched.
HOW IT HAPPENED-
Saint Peter's struggled at the plate for the first three innings, with Washington scoring 5 runs before the fourth inning. The Peacocks would answer back at the top of the fourth inning with two runs, with Lavely adding a home run to his line and Azarieh adding a run.
George Washington and the Peacocks went runless throughout the match with both teams putting up strong defensive efforts until the bottom of the eighth inning. Washington will have three runs to close out the game against Saint Peter's.
