LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL –

Brennan McCabe, and
Jeffery Yong of the Saint Peter's men's golf team were selected to the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Golf All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today. A total of 61 student-athletes were selected to the team.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Leading all MAAC institutions with 10 honorees was Sacred Heart University. Right behind Sacred Heart was a tie between Iona University and Merrimack College who both earned seven nominations each. A six way tie would ensue as Canisius University, Fairfield University, Manhattan University, Niagara University, Saint Peter's University, and Siena University each named five honorees to the squad. Closing out the All- Academic Team was Rider University (4) and Mount St. Mary's University (3).
The 2026 MAAC Men's Golf Championship takes place April 28-30, 2026 and returns to Disney's Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, for the 15th consecutive season dating back to 2011 and the 24th time overall since 2000.
