LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL - The Saint Peter's men's golf team has finished the second day of the MAAC Championships at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Although not as strong as day one, the Peacocks still showed fight as they are very much alive heading into the final day of the MAAC Championship. The main star for Saint Peter's was
Christopher Hannan who scored the best for the Peacocks with a round score of 77, going just five over par. Hannan in particular on the back nine was solid, knocking down a pair of birdies to open and close the final stretch. Heading into the last day, Hannan currently resides in a tie for 27th place.
Jeffery Yong stays atop the leaderboard for Saint Peter's with a 23rd place finish and a round score of 78.
Other performances from the Peacocks came by
Chad Maurer who bounced back after day one by leading Saint Peter's in birdies with three and staying consistent by a tie for 36th place.
Shiv Manhas also keeps the Peacocks alive with an 83 round score to tie for 38th place.
Jack Hennelly rounds out the squad with a top 50 performance, scoring 80 for the round, and placing in a tie for 43rd place.
The Peacocks will tee off for round three at 8:45 am ET. The official scores from day two are listed below:
