JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Five Saint Peter's University softball players earned spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, CSC announced on Tuesday.
The Peacocks were represented by
Kiana Kadena,
Olivia Christopher,
Hannah Klotz,
Carlee Charles and
Ava White.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Softball teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
In 2026, Kadena played and started in all 51 games for the Peacocks. She had the fifth most hits (41) on the team, second most runs (22) and doubles (seven) and tied for the second most RBIs (16). Her best game of the season arguably came against Manhattan (March 24), when she went 3-for-3 with a run, a double and two RBIs.
Christopher was one of the most reliable players for Saint Peter's this season, locking up the second-base position in 50 games. She recorded 86 putouts and 77 assists while working her way to a .959 fielding percentage. In the batter's box, Christopher accumulated 43 hits, 14 RBIs and four doubles, while also crossing home plate 17 times.
Klotz made her 2026 campaign her best yet. After playing and starting in every game for the Peacocks, she tallied 44 hits, five doubles and eight RBIs. She had one of the best batting averages on the team with a mark of .291. In the win over Canisius (April 3), Klotz turned heads with a run, a double and two RBIs on 3-for-4 batting.
Charles led the team in home runs (five), RBIs (31), slugging percentage (.469), walks (18), triples (two) and on-base percentage (.383). She also had the second most hits on the squad with 44. Her best outing came against Lafayette (April 15), when she went 4-for-4 from the box, highlighted by a two-run homer in the fourth inning. She ended the game with four RBIs.
White recorded the best ERA of any Peacocks pitcher over the course of the season, managing a 5.36 mark. She pitched 62.2 innings and recorded 19 total strikeouts. Against UMES (March 11), White recorded a season-high five strikeouts in seven innings pitched.
