Saint Peter's Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's volleyball program released its 2026 schedule on Wednesday, revealing its first slate in the rebranded Metro Conference. The Peacocks are set to play 18 conference matches and 13 non-conference matches, highlighted by a few new opponents.

Like last season, the Peacocks are beginning the year with the Holly Young Invitational hosted by New Hampshire. Saint Peter's is slated to play Providence, New Hampshire and New Haven before eventually returning to Jersey City for its first home match in September.

The two non-conference opponents that the Peacocks are hosting at Run Baby Run Arena this season are Delaware State and LIU. For the remaining 11 non-conference matches, SPU will be on the road. Three of those matches are associated with the Maryland Tournament, where Saint Peter's will compete against challenging programs in Princeton, Seton Hall and Maryland.

As the Peacocks enter conference play, they will play their first five Metro matches at home before traveling away. Conference play is definitely a hard test, and it will be no different this season. The goal for this team, as it is every year, is to make it to the conference tournament for a chance at the title.

The 2026 Metro Conference Volleyball Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 18-23, 2026. The First Round will be hosted by the #3 and #4 seeds. The Semifinal Round and Championship Final will be hosted by the #1 seed. The Semifinal Round will be played on Saturday, Nov. 22 and the Championship Final will be played on Sunday, Nov. 23.
