PHILADELPHIA, P.A.- The Saint Peter's women's soccer team is continuing its road trip and heading to Philadelphia, Pa. for its second match-up of the 2026 season against Temple. The Peacocks kick off at the Temple Sports Complex on Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. ET.
The Peacocks (0-1) are looking to bounce back and secure their first win of the season after they fell short to the Bonnies this past Sunday, 0-1.
HISTORY WITH THE TEMPLE OWLS
Overall, the Peacocks are 1-2 all-time against the Owls. Their most recent match-up was last season, where Saint Peter's came out on top 3-1 in Jersey City. Senior midfielder Alexa De Barros and senior forward Julia Pinho Magno each netted a goal in the victory.
ABOUT THE TEMPLE OWLS
The Temple Owls (1-1) started their season .500, dropping their first game to George Washington 0-4 and earning a 1-0 win at Hampton in Norfolk, Va, this past Saturday.
Their lone goal against Hampton came in the 82nd minute and was headed into the goal by freshman Danica Banham, who earned her first collegiate goal.
Head coach Chris Shaw returns for his second official season with the Owls. The Owls were 4-15 overall last season and went 1-9 in American Conference (AAC) play.
Saint Peter's kicks off at Temple on Aug. 23 at 1:00 p.m. The game will be available to stream on ESPN +.
