VILLANOVA, P.A.- The Peacocks fall to Villanova in a highly defensive match at Higgins Soccer Complex today.
Saint Peter's recorded 21 shots, five on goal, and Sebastian Heredia-Randen making 10 saves to keep the Peacocks in the game.
How it Happened
First Half-

The Wildcats would answer back with a goal early in the 11th minute, with Saint Peter's Connall McErlain attempting a shot in the 16th minute.
The Peacocks would continue to try to get on board till the end of the half but were unable to get past Villanova's backline.
Second Half-
The Second half would see a long line of substitutions for the Peacocks as Harry Edwards, Enrique Mendes, Darrell Etienne, Caleb Hughes, Christian Ramirez and Bryan Garcia stepped onto the pitch.
Villanova would try to make a push for their second goal but were called offside, followed by a shot bottom right that would be saved by Heredia-Randen.
The Wildcats would continue putting up a shooting gallery but were unable to get another point on the board, with two shots going out top and one being sent bottom center into the hands of Heredia-Randen.
Both teams would go blow for blow, with Saint Peter's trying to mount a comeback and Villanova looking to shut the door, but neither side was able to complete the task, leading to a 0-1 defeat for the Peacocks.
