JERSEY CITY, N.J.- The Saint Peter's women's soccer team will have its home opener and third contest of the season against the LIU Sharks on Wednesday, August 26, at 4 p.m. ET at Joseph J. Jaroschak Field. The game will be available to stream on the Peacocks Digital Network
The Peacocks (0-2) and Sharks (0-3) are each looking for their first win of the 2026 season. Saint Peter's fell 0-1 this past Sunday at Temple, and LIU also came up short 0-3 against Temple on Aug. 20.Â

Overall, the Peacocks are 1-2 all-time against the Sharks. Their last matchup was last season, where Saint Peter's came away with a 3-0 victory in Brookville, NY. Senior defender

The teams previously met in 2022 and 2023, where the Peacocks fell 0-1 in 2022 in Brookville, NY and 0-3 in Jersey City in 2023.
ABOUT THE LIU SHARKSÂ
LIU (1-1) dropped its first three games of the season, starting 0-3. The Sharks fell to two Metro Conference opponents, 0-3 at Iona and 1-3 against Manhattan.
Head coach Jim O'Brien returns for his second official season with the Sharks. The Sharks were over .500 last season and held a record of 7-5-5 overall, going 5-3-3 in Northeast Conference NEC play.Â
