WEST ORANGE, N.J.- The Saint Peter's women's soccer team will head west to West Orange, NJ, to take on the Seton Hall Pirates this Thursday, August 3, at 4 p.m. ET. at Owen T. Carroll Field.
The Peacocks (1-3) are looking to bounce back against the Big East members after they fell short 1-2 to the Le Moyne Dolphins this past Sunday at Jaroschak Field.
Freshman forward
Elise Viggiano netted her first collegiate career goal in the loss. Sophomore forward
Mayla McLean had the assist. Her third goal contribution of the season.
The Peacocks made a statement, outshooting the Dolphins 11-2 in the second half, but it was not enough to get the equalizer.

This is the first match-up that Saint Peter's will play against Seton Hall, or any Big East Conference member.
ABOUT THE SETON HALL PIRATES
Seton Hall started its season hot, going 3-0. The Pirates' most recent game was this past Sunday against New Haven, where they picked up a 5-0 win. This is currently Seton Hall's best start to a season since 2021. They look to extend that record on Thursday.
Head coach Josh Osit is in his fifth season with the Pirates. In just his second season as head coach, Osit helped the Pirates finish with their most points in Big East play since 2011. Prior to joining the Pirates, Osit spent eight seasons at Columbia University as an assistant coach and two seasons at Rutgers University.
