COLLEGE PARK, MD- The Peacocks (0-7) lost in three sets (11-25, 21- 25, 24- 26) and were unable to extend the match series against Princeton.
SET ONE-
Saint Peter's would strike first with an ace by Fargas; Princeton would respond quickly with a kill of their own.
Princeton would add four more points to the board as the Peacocks scrambled to get back into the game by adding four more points, with Victoria Pruvost helping on the offensive front with a kill of her own.
Princeton would go on two more runs to end the set 11-25.
SET TWO-
The second set would start in a similar fashion, with SPU getting two points in quick succession with the help of Fargas and Valeria Munoz Pagas, with the Tigers responding with a point of their own.
Princeton and the Peacocks would continue to go back and forth until the Tigers began to pull away with a three-point set, where the momentum would pull them ahead to end the series at 21-25.
SET THREE-
Set three was the closest of the three sets as the Peacocks looked to extend the match to a fourth set and to take the momentum away from the Tigers.
Princeton would start off with two quick points which the Peacocks adding two of their own.
The set would continue to be a tug of war as neither side refused to give up, with SPU going on a four-point run later in the set to take the lead.
Princeton would start chipping away at the lead as the Peacocks tried to hang on by adding three more points, and the set would sit at 20-19.
The Tigers would begin to pull away with a three-point push to tie the series at 24-24, then they would add two more points to end the match at 24-26.

The Peacocks continue to look for their first win of the season as they head into their second day of the Maryland tournament, as they go head-to-head against Seton Hall tomorrow at 4 p.m.
