JERSEY CITY, N.J.- Peacocks (3-3-2, 1-1 METRO) disappointingly fall to Fairfield, with the Stags getting four goals on Saint Peter's
SPU recorded ten shots, six on goal, and four saves from
Sebastian Heredia-Randen.
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF-
Saint Peter's started the match with a shot from
Marcos De Elias that went bottom left in the 24th minute.
Fairfield would strike first in the 28th minute as they put one down the center that would hit the back of the net.
Peacocks would make some late half substitutions, with
Matteo Niglio and
Christian Ramirez coming onto the pitch to close out the half.
SECOND HALF-
The Stags would strike again to open up the second half, followed by a shot from
Davis Barnes to help create momentum for the Peacocks.
Farifield would score again to increase the lead to 3-0, with Barnes getting shot off the counter that would go out left.
Finally, the Stags would close the half with one final goal to end the match at 4-0.
