TOWSON, MD- The Peacocks (0-6) fell to Towson (3-2) in three sets ( 20-25, 20-25, 16-25) as they struggled to maintain momentum early.
Saint Peter's recorded five aces and 29 kills with Victoria Pruvost having nine kills and Julia Whaley recording three aces for the team.
HOW IT HAPPENED-
SET 1-
The Peacocks would start off strong with a three point streak but the Tigers will answer quickly with five quick points. This would go on for the rest of the match with Saint Peter's having small sparks inbetween the set which would end at 20-25 in Towson's favor.
SET 2-
The second set was different, as both teams battled for points with the Peacocks going on a four point stretch to cut the lead at three.
Towson would go on to add two more points to extend their lead and would end up with the win at 20-25.
SET 3-
Struggles continued for the Peacocks as the Tigers went on a five point streak late in the set with Saint Peter's only being able to grab six points towards the end. The set would end at 16-25 with Towson grabbing the win.
