BALTIMORE, MD-  The Peacocks (0-7) struggled against Loyola (2-3)  today, ending the match in three sets (13-25, 25-27, 18-25).

Saint Peter's recorded 29 kills and two aces today, with Victoria Pruvost and Korlina T. Rodriguez Menedez carrying most of the offensive load.

HOW IT HAPPENED​

SET ONE-

Loyola struck first with seven points, and the Peacocks answered with a point of their own.

​

Loyola continued to pile on the points, with Saint Peter's showing a small burst of a potential comeback, but it was not enough as Loyola went on a four-point push to end the set at 13-25.

SET TWO-

The next set saw both teams battle it out for points, with the Peacocks staying in the match with the help of Valeria Pagan Munoz and Rodriguez.

The set would go into overtime with Loyola getting another three-point streak to end the set at 25-27.

SET THREE-

In the final set, Saint Peter's was looking for a spark to help extend the game with an early three-point push but was unable to stick with the momentum, as Loyola would stall them at 18 points, ending the match at 18-25
