ANNAPOLIS, MD - After an impressive showing over this past weekend, junior forward
Dominic Laws of the Saint Peter's University men's soccer program has been named to the 2019 Navy All-Tournament Team. Laws was the sole Peacock voted to the 11-man team.
The Sunderland native was the lone scorer for the Peacocks in two tournament games over the weekend. Against UMBC, Laws was able to capitalize on a corner kick from teammate
Jamie Davis, finding the net in the 44th minute of the match. In total, Laws would record five shots, with three of them being on target, against the Retrievers. In the Peacocks' matchup with Navy, the junior forward was able to fire off three more shots in the contest while tallying one of the two shots on goal by the Peacocks.
Joining Laws on the All-Tournament Team were Matt Nocita, Diego Manrique , Jacob Williams, Tyler Collins, and Ian Bramblett (Navy), Julius Stefansson, Justyn Sandhu, and Francesco Caorsi (St. Bonaventure), and Jon Bell and Ole Omarsson (UMBC).
