JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Over the past month, the Saint Peter's University men's and women's track & field programs have welcomed 20 incoming freshmen student-athletes to the program after those future Peacocks all inked their national letters of intent (NLI).
All but one of the 20 Jersey City-bound student-athletes hail from the Garden State, with one New Yorker in the mix. Each will be entering his or her first year of collegiate eligibility as true freshmen. They will add to the strong foundation of the cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field programs which took great strides last fall and winter, including a fifth- and sixth-place finish by the men and women, respectively, at the 2020 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Indoor Championships in February.
