Leaderboard Roundup

  • Apostolico once again led the Peacock quintet thanks to a three-over 75 in his opening round. The senior carded all three of his birdies of the day during his opening 18-hole outing on the way to his 11-over tally for the tournament. The Sparta, New Jersey, native was among the best golfers on the course in Par 3 shooting on Monday, averaging a 3.13 in those situations.
  • Classmate Melvin Morales went seven-over and six-over, respectively, on the way to a tie for 55th place thanks to a 13-over for the tournament. • Sophomore Adam Varela was next on the ledger for the Peacocks with a 15-over for the tournament. He came out firing with three birdies in his opening 18 holes, including back-to-back on the 12th and 13th and he added another red number after a birdie on the par-5 second during the later round to account for his 59th-place finish.
  • Rossi was one stroke back at 16-over for the tournament, but it his team-high five birdies were the story of the day. The senior was was 1-under after three holes an impressive two-over 74 after his opening 18 holes, the lowest single-round score by a Peacock for the tournament. He would finish in 60th place.
  • Finally, first-year sophomore Antonio Conde Ortega rounded out the field with a strong second round that saw him card a 13-over 85. He birdied once on the par-5 second during his first round.
