JERSEY CITY, NJ - A women's volleyball player and a men's soccer player have been named Saint Peter's University Athletics Peacocks of the Month for October, as freshman Elena Bilhartz and sophomore Mikkel Fodstad have earned the third monthly Peacock award for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Bilhartz has been a standout player for the volleyball team this season. She currently leads the team in points with 217, blocks with 76, and is second on the team in kills with 152. In the win over Manhattan on Wednesday, October 18th, she recorded 22.5 points and 15 kills.
Fodstad leads the men's soccer team in goals this season. He has scored three so far this campaign, including goals against Mount St. Mary's and Rider this month. The Hovik, Norway native is also second on the team in shots with 19 and has one assist on the season.
