Saint Peter's University Athletics and Peacocks Basketball will host Rider Friday, Feb. 11 & Saturday, Feb. 12 for Equality & Inclusion/Faculty & Staff Appreciation Weekend.
Equality & Inclusion Night/Day is an initiative by Rising Coaches DEI Alliance. Darryl Jacobs, Executive Director of the Rising Coaches DEI Alliance says, "the purpose of this campaign is to continue to raise awareness for equality and inclusion for all people." The basketball coaching staff will wear all black on the sidelines as well as the "equal sign" lapel pin created to symbolize equality. Please join the Saint Peter's staff and wear all black to show equality & inclusion.
The games double as part of Faculty & Staff Appreciation Weekend. The athletics department will be honoring all Saint Peter's University faculty & staff members in attendance and student-athletes who made the Dean's List last semester. Faculty & Staff are eligible to purchase discounted Saint Peter's athletics apparel at the game when they show their Spirit ID. Saint Peter's University students, faculty, staff, and administrators are admitted to all regular season basketball games
FREE OF CHARGE by presenting a valid Spirit ID.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7 pm Friday and 2 pm on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased one hour before the game at the box office located in the Yanitelli Center.
