ATLANTIC CITY, NJ. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its Men's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll and Preseason All-MAAC honors at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City on Tuesday, Oct. 17. SPU sophomore Corey Washington was voted to the Preseason All-MAAC Third team.
Washington looks to build off an impressive freshman campaign. Last season, the Arkansas native averaged 6.8 points and 4.9 rebounds and was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team.
Rider University received the most votes for first. Rider's Mervin James was voted as the Preseason Player of the Year. Full results are available below:
