New York, NY. - Saint Peter's men's basketball made an appearance on FOX5 NY this morning. SPU's Oumar Diahame and Interim Director of Athletics Katie Arcuri spoke to host Tina Cervasio.
FOX 5 NY ran a segment that promoted the Peacocks' Nov. 15 game at FDU as "The Battle of the Bracket Busters." The game tips-off at 7:00 and will be broadcasted on the YES Network. FDU head coach Jack Castleberry and Emmanul Jo'el attended for FDU.
"We are really excited about this game and hope everybody comes out and supports," Arcuri said. "I think it's something that can be exciting year in and year out that builds on tradition."
"I felt that after everything changed, it was a good experience. Jersey City was proud, and seeing everybody supporting us, it was just an amazing thing," Diahame said. "We want to win again this year, we have confidence we can do it, and we have a great team this year."
