Golf Faced Off Against Siena, Fordham, and Manhattan At AC Match Play

Ocean View, N.J.- Saint Peter's Men's Golf competed in the AC Match Play tournament against Siena College, Manhattan College and Fordham University on Sunday.
 
Match Notes

• The tournament is designed as a head-to-head competition where everyone moves on to the next stage of the tournament.
• Saint Peter's went 1-1-1 across the three head-to-head matches. 
• In the quarterfinals, Saint Peter's lost to Siena, 5-0-1.
• In that matchup, Shiv Manhas had the lone tie for the Peacocks.
• The Peacocks then faced Fordham in the semifinals and secured a 3-2-1 victory.
• Adam Varela, Pablo Alvarez and Jeffery Yong came through with wins over the Rams in the semifinals.
• The final round was a 3-3 tie with Manhattan.
• Yong, Manhas, and Alvarez secured the tie with individual wins over Manhattan.
• Manhas completed the match with a Par 4 score of +10.

Next weekend, Saint Peter's will face Columbia University Roar-EE Invitational in Kingston, N.Y.
