Le Moyne Capitalized on Strong First Half in 2-0 Win Over Saint Peter's

Syracuse, N.Y.- Saint Peter's Men's Soccer lost to Le Moyne College, 2-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.

  • Le Moyne shutout Saint Peter's with a strong first half performance that rolled over into the final 45 minutes of play.   
  • Ziad Abdul-Malak began the scoring for the Dolphins with a goal in the 21st minute of play.
  • Le Moyne's Jack Goodrich put the Dolphins ahead by two goals with another goal that came in the 37th minute.
  • Saint Peter's finished the match with nine shots.  
  • Graduate forward Conlan Paventi led the team with four shot attempts
  • In the second half, neither team scored, but Le Moyne held on to its lead from the first half.
  • The loss sent the Peacocks to 0-5-1 overall on the season.
