Saint Peter's Announces 2025 Schedule, Ready For Fresh Start

JERSEY CITY, N.J - The Saint Peter's baseball program returns to the diamond on Friday to kick off the 2025 season. The Peacocks are coming off a promising year in 2024 that raised expectations of the players as well as the coaching staff. Saint Peter's will look to build off of what took place last year and continue to trend in the right direction.

"We're coming off a season in which we recorded the most wins in over a decade", head coach Grant Neary stated ahead of the 2025 campaign. "We returned a strong, experienced group of players that are finally healthy and brought in a strong recruiting class of talent so I'm very optimistic about the course of our 2025 season."

The Peacocks are returning 18 players from last year's roster while adding 17 transfers and five high school recruits. The freshman newcomers include Rohan Agarwal, Nick Izzo, Hunter Lefkus, Will Paxton and Wilfred Santiago. 

Saint Peter's opens its season with a four-game series at Incarnate Word. The Peacocks will travel to San Antonio, Texas for games starting on Friday, Feb. 14. The Peacocks will then play at Villanova on Wednesday, Feb. 19, followed by a series against George Mason from Feb. 21-23.

Saint Peter's first set of conference games will take place March 7-9 when the Peacocks host Rider. After taking on the Broncs, MAAC play will continue for SPU on March 21-23 vs. Canisius. The full schedule can be seen below.
