LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – A total of 445 student-athletes were named to the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Teams, the MAAC announced Friday.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
On the men's side for the Peacocks,
Amari Campbell,
Ryan Fernandes,
Derek Garcia,
Delano Gooden,
Hensley Jean Baptiste,
Judeson Mirac,
Adebusuyi Shittu and
Connor Ziolkowski were all selected to the academic team.
Leading all conference schools was Sacred Heart University with 40 All-Academic Team selections. Totaling 24 honorees was Marist University, followed by 23 selections from Merrimack College. Rider University placed 17 on the lineup, while Siena College had 15 choices. Rounding out the academic team was Iona University (13), Canisius University (12), Mount St. Mary's University (12), Manhattan University (9), and Saint Peter's University (8).
For the women,
Kamia Boykin,
Mikell Dolo and
Luisana Flores represented Saint Peter's on the team as well.
Sacred Heart University led all schools with a conference-high 71 student-athletes placed on the All-Academic Team. Marist University was next with 36 honorees, followed by 32 selections from Rider University, 29 by Quinnipiac University and 27 from Merrimack College. Siena College (16), Canisius University (14), Iona University (13), Mount St. Mary's University (13), Niagara University (11), Manhattan University (7), and Saint Peter's University (3) rounded out the All-Academic Team.
