JERSEY CITY, N.J.- Saint Peter's volleyball freshman
Victoria Pruvost was named the Metro Atlantic Atheltic (METRO) volleyball rookie of the week after an impressive week against Rider, Niagara, and Canisius.
Pruvost had a total of 35 kills with 3.5 kills per set and a total hitting percentage of .424% as she had a stellar performance last week.
In her game against Rider she would record eight kills to help the Peacocks sweep the Broncs. She would then go on to record 11 more kills to put Niagara away in three sets to keep Saint Peter's win streak alive.
Finally Pruvost would be a problem against Canisius as she would have a career high 16 kills and two digs to push the Peacocks to a 4-1 start in the METRO.
Pruvost is set to play against NJIT on Wednesday at 6 p.m. as she looks to help give the Peacocks their 4 consecutive win.
