NEW HAVEN, Conn--The Saint Peter's track and field team spent Valentine's Day competing in its final regular-season meet at Yale's 19th Annual Giegengack Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Peacocks combined for six podium finishes, including four golds, and swept both the men's and women's 4x400 relays.
Amari Campbell secured his sixth consecutive podium finish in the long jump and his second straight 24-foot-plus leap.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
Karilynn Jimenez opened the day for Saint Peter's, punching her ticket to the 60m finals as the sixth seed in 7.73–a new personal and team-best time that ranks sixth in the conference. Jimenez finished sixth overall in 7.81. Quinnipiac's Nyasia Dailey claimed first in a MAAC-best time of 7.39.
Mercedes Cruz-Fletcher also advanced to the 60m hurdles finals, finishing sixth overall and posting a new personal and team-best time of 9.25. Yale's Lucija Grd took first in 8.29, followed by Brown's Simone Dunbar (8.55) and Southern Connecticut State's Amanda Castaldi (8.83).
Lourdes Lawson led the field team with a sixth-place finish in the shot put, landing a mark of 12.62m. Yale went 1-2 in Anna Siciliano (14.06m) and Makayla Harris (13.85m), while Brown's Angela Volkova (13.17m) prevented a Yale sweep.
The highlight of the women's events came from the 4x400 relay squad of Cruz-Fletcher,
Shania McDuffie, Jimenez, and
Adriana Rollins. The quartet finished nearly two and a half seconds ahead of the field, overtaking both Quinnipiac teams in a season-best time of 4:04.13, ranking eighth in the conference.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
Neo Clark-Tabb narrowly missed gold, claiming silver in a tightly contested 200m featuring an all-rookie podium. Clark-Tabb clocked a new personal and team-best time of 22.54, ranking 15th in the MAAC. Stony Brook's Jamal Joseph took first in 22.533, while Brown's Vanson Vu (22.55) finished third.
Ajani Peck-Wekunda hit a new indoor PR in the 400m, securing second in 50.27, ranking 19th in the conference. Unattached athlete Vincent Sivo claimed gold in 49.84.
The 500m saw three Peacocks finish in the top five, with
Favour Owolabi leading the charge in a personal-best 1:04.03, nearly a full second ahead of the field and ranking third in the conference.
Michael Odins narrowly missed the podium by 16 hundredths of a second, posting a PR of 1:05.21.
Connor Ziolkowski followed in 1:05.71, with
Desrick Hemans Jr. rounding out the event in 1:07.40.
The 4x400 relay quartet of Owolabi,
Cashieve Blair, Clark-Tabb, and Peck-Wekunda dominated the event, finishing three seconds ahead of the field in 3:18.28, with three of the five sub-50 splits coming from Saint Peter's.
Amari Campbell continued his dominance in the long jump, finishing .54m ahead of the field as the only competitor to clear seven meters. The senior recorded a mark of 7.32m, landing just half an inch shy of his career best.

The Peacocks turn their attention to the 2026 MAAC Track and Field Championships at the Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory in New York, New York, for the 22nd consecutive year, on Saturday and Sunday, February 21-22. First events begin at 5 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ for the first time in league history.
