JERSEY CITY, N.J.- With
Julian Richens going into his 16th season as the head coach for the Saint Peter's men's soccer program, the team aims to start its season off with a win against nonconference opponent FDU on Aug. 20th at 7 p.m. E.T.
"We are looking forward to getting the season started," Richens said. "We have addressed every gap we identified after 2025. The defensive spine is stronger, we have genuine attacking depth across the front line."
The team is adding eight new players to its roster, with two joining in the spring, In addition to some overseas talent joining the squad such as
Sebastian Heredia-Randen and
Christian Capacchione.
"Our expectation levels are high and every decision we have made this offseason has been built around having a group that will be highly competitive in the Metro Conference."

The Peacocks are looking to grab their first win since their two recorded defeats dating back to September of 2018.
In their previous meeting on August 30th of last year, it was a dominant performance for FDU, with the match ending in a 1-4 loss for SPU. The Peacocks answered back with a goal from golden boot winner
