JERSEY CITY, NJ- The Saint Peter's Peacocks (1-7-1) CONF. (0-2-1) will play at Jaroschak Field this Saturday, Sept. 26th, where they'll take on New Jersey foe, Rider (1-5-1) CONF. (0-4) at 12 PM ET. The game will be available to stream on the Peacocks Digital Network
The Peacocks are looking to bounce back and achieve their first-ever Metro Conference win after a loss at Sacred Heart on Wednesday evening. The Rider Broncos are also hoping to secure their first Metro win.
HISTORY WITH THE RIDER BRONCOS:
The Peacocks and Broncos are no strangers to each other. Overall, Saint Peter's is 5-24-2 against Rider. The two teams' matchups date as far back as 1997.
The Peacocks most recently defeated the Broncos 1-0 back in 2021. Saint Peter's will look to get its first win over Rider in five years.
Their most recent match-up resulted in a 0-0 draw at Rider last season. With both teams looking for not only their first Metro win, but also their second win of the season, some good, hungry soccer is sure to be played this weekend.
