Jimmy Apostolico earned his first-ever top-five finish during the Saint Peter's men's golf team's third tournament of the fall, the Nassau Intercollegiate.
The senior from Sparta, N.J. was tied for fourth overall among 48 golfers following the first 36-hole tournament. Apostolico was six-over 140 at the Nassau Country Club course, tallying a team-high four birdies and 22 pars.

- Apostolico finished fourth in both the first (+2) and second rounds (+4) on Monday, sitting four strokes back of top spot after 36 holes.
- Senior Melvin Morales shot up the leaderboard in the second round thanks to a 5-over 70 finish that left him ranked 18th overall in the round. He was one of the big movers of the day, charging up 12 spots into 26th place (+17).
- Sophomore Antonio Conde Ortega was 15th after round one, finishing the first 18 holes 6-over 70. He finished 17 strokes behind the leader after two rounds.
- Senior Caleb Rossi is fourth among Peacocks after shooting 28-over 140.
- Freshman David Cho took part in his first collegiate tournament, finishing the two rounds 30-over 140.
Next Up
The final round of competition was canceled on Tuesday due to rain. The Peacocks will cap the fall with the Metropolitan Championship on Monday, Nov. 1 at the Montclair Country Club in West Orange, N.J.
