EDISON, N.J. (Apr. 6, 2022) - Freshman Diamond McLaughlin's performance this past weekend for the Peacocks earned her Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athlete of the Week honors, the conference announced Wednesday.
McLaughlin had a great weekend at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, VA. The freshman continued to build off of her stellar indoor season, taking third place in the 400 Hurdles with a time of 1:02.45. Not only was this a collegiate best mark for her in the event, but it was also an IC4A/ECAC qualifying time. She was also the second leg in the women's 4x200 relay team that placed ninth in the event with a time of 1:42.81.
