JERSEY CITY, N.J. (Aug. 2, 2022) - Former standout goalkeeper and Saint Peter's University women's soccer alumni Victoria Scarratt has signed an overseas contract to play Stirling University Women's FC in Scotland.
The 2022 season will get underway for Stirling on Sunday, August 7th playing in the Scottish Women's Premier League against Montrose FC.
"No words can describe how fortunate and excited I am to play overseas for another season," Scarratt said. "This is a childhood dream come true. Since I was five years old, I have always wanted to play for a team in the United Kingdom and that dream has become a reality! I was grateful to receive Player's Player of the Season last season for our BUCS league and I want to continue the work this season and help my team put some more points on the board. The energy from the players, coaches, and support staff has been incredible and I know we are all looking forward to next week so we can see how our hard work has paid off."
A four-year starter with the Peacocks, Scarratt is one of the top goalkeepers in program history, ranking third in program history in career saves, fourth in saves per game and ninth in career save percentage. She now turns her attention to the SWPL as she continues her journey in professional soccer.
