West Orange, N.J.- Saint Peter's men's golfer
Shiv Manhas recorded a hole-in-one on the third hole at the Rock Spring Golf Club during the qualifying round for the Wagner Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship on Thursday afternoon.
The hole-in-one, which is a rare feat in golf, helped Manhas' and Saint Peter's placement in next week's championship. Six Peacocks qualified to play in the championship. Those Peacocks were
Shiv Manhas,
Antonio Conde Ortega,
Pablo Alvarez,
Jeffery Yong,
Adam Varela, and
Parker Gray.
This will be the final golf tournament of the fall season for Saint Peter's. The Peacocks will look to have more success at the Montclair Golf Club.
