JERSEY CITY, N.J.- The Peacocks are back home on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd at 6 pm as they welcome LIU to Run Baby Run Arena, which will start a three-game home stretch where they will also kick off their conference series starting with Siena on Friday and then Marist on Sunday.
Saint Peter's is hoping to grab some wins on their home court after a disappointing showing at the Maryland tournament two weeks ago.
ABOUT LIU-
The Sharks will be looking for their third win in a row after beating Butler and Duke at the Butler Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
In their last matchup against the Sharks, it was the Peacocks who would be taking it home as they swept LIU in three sets (25-23, 25-22, 25-23).
It would be
Alondra Fargas to help Saint Peter's push through with three aces and 15 assists.
Overall, the Peacocks sit at 1-1 when facing LIU over the past two years.
ABOUT SIENA-
After LIU, the Peacocks will welcome Siena to Run Baby Run arena on Friday at 6 p.m. as they start their conference campaign.
SPU sits at 1-25 when facing Siena with only one win at home; in their last meeting in November of last year, it was the Saint Bernards taking the win in four sets (24-26, 16-25, 25-21, 22-25) with the Peacocks stealing one late in the third set.
Saint Peter's will be trying to flip the script against the Saint Bernards with a win at home on Friday night.
ABOUT MARIST-
The Peacocks will be ending their week against Marist on Saturday at 1 p.m., where they sit at 2-25 against the Red Foxes.
In their last meeting in November of last year, Marist swept the Peacocks in three sets (17-25,26-28,18-25), where Saint Peter's recorded 35 kills and 30 assists, with
Indira T. Benitez Dumeng carrying the offense.
SPU will be looking for three straight wins as they wrap up nonconference matches and begin their Metro campaign.
